Waiting on Wednesday: Silver Shadows

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine. It's basically an upcoming release that you're waiting for.
Right now, I'm waiting for Silver Shadows by Richelle Mead to come out. Its scheduled release is July 29th, so it's almost here. The anticipation of what's going to happen is killing me. I finished The Fiery Heart last week, and I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!! The cover though, like all the Bloodlines covers, isn't pretty. I just don't imaging Sydney as this platinum blonde- bleached kind of girl. She's naturally blonde I believe, but that's not how it looks on the covers of these books.

Amazon Blurb:
Sydney Sage is an Alchemist, one of a group of humans who dabble in magic and serve to bridge the worlds of humans and vampires. They protect vampire secrets—and human lives.
In The Fiery Heart, Sydney risked everything to follow her gut, walking a dangerous line to keep her feelings hidden from the Alchemists.
Now in the aftermath of an event that ripped their world apart, Sydney and Adrian struggle to pick up the pieces and find their way back to each other. But first, they have to survive.
For Sydney, trapped and surrounded by adversaries, life becomes a daily struggle to hold on to her identity and the memories of those she loves. Meanwhile, Adrian clings to hope in the face of those who tell him Sydney is a lost cause, but the battle proves daunting as old demons and new temptations begin to seize hold of him. . . .
Their worst fears now a chilling reality, Sydney and Adrian face their darkest hour in this heart-pounding fifth installment in the New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series, where all bets are off.

I'm so excited for this book to come out. All of Richelle Mead's books that are affiliated with Vampire Academy are really quick, fun, and exciting reads. I can't speak for her other books, because I haven't read them. I personally like the Bloodlines series more, because we already know the characters, and we're already attached to them. It comes out in less than a week now, and I can't wait.
What's your Waiting on Wednesday? Tell me in the comments, and I'll talk to you next time.

    1. I'd definitely recommend picking up both the Vampire Academy series and the Bloodlines series. VA is a little hard to really get into, but it picks up more in the third book. They're really quick reads, and the books aren't that big.
